General Bajwa | "Tell me what's going on!"
PESHAWER: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar the other day, received on his arrival by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood.
The COAS was briefed in detail on the prevailing security situation as well as progress on development works and socio-economic improvement in tribal districts.
Gen Bajwa appreciated the improved security situation and measures for better border management, including fencing. He made special mention of security forces and praised how they assisted the civilian administration in the fight against COVID-19; particularly the effective containment efforts. ‑‑PR
