KARACHI: The attack on the Chinese Consulate General in this port city of Pakistan moments ago has left 3 terrorists and 2 Pakistani lawmen dead, while the Sindh province (of which Karachi is the capital city) Chief Minister Murad Shah is about to leave the consulate general which he visited as soon as it was secure for him to do so.
Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi spoke to the press on the attack and sought to control the damage to his government’s credentials by emphasising the loss of Pakistani lawmen’s lives and their quick response to the security breach of the consulate general’s periphery.
