ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Friday released 323,000 cusecs of water from various rim stations, from an inflow of 299,600 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level at Tarbela Dam was 1518.70 feet and was 120.70 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 157,500 cusecs and 190,000 cusecs respectively.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1196.45 feet, which was 148.45 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 24,100 cusecs and 15,000 cusecs respectively. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 227,600, 202,100, 140,000 and 74,600 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 54,600 cusecs of water released at Nowshera and 37,200 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala. ‑‑APP
