ISLAMABAD: Blind Pakistani archer Tanveer Ahmed is set to return home tonight, after winning two gold medals in two back-to-back international competitions.
Ahmed bagged gold medals at the Para Archery World Ranking Event in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, and the 1440 Double FITA Round at Jabbeke, Belgium, respectively.
He scored a remarkable 910 points to clinch the gold medal in the VI-2/3 category at the Double FITA Round in Belgium. His outstanding performance makes him the only blind archer to win gold medals for both Asia and Pakistan. ‑‑APP
