PCB CEO Wasim Khan | I regret what I said, but have a heart!
ABU DHABI: Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Wasim Khan released a statement on June 7, admitting that his selection of words and his tenor were inappropriate during an interview the day before, wherein he’d made some comments about some members of the media, which in hindsight he regretted. “The continued and unending tirade against me based on my loyalty and commitment to Pakistan cricket took its toll on me” he explained.
Wasim said he looked forward to building and strengthening his relationships with the media but also hoped their assessment, analysis and scrutiny would focus on his work, performance and contributions to cricket.
