JERUSALEM: Israeli forces entered the Temple Mount (Al Aqsa Mosque) immediately after Friday prayers so as to let worshippers finish praying before they apprehended a Palestinian who entered an Adam Settlement home and stabbed three Israelis, one of whom died from his wounds.

The military said it detained four Palestinians for questioning after it searched the assailant’s village Kauber in the north of Jerusalem. The attacker was shot and killed.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum called the stabbing an act of bravery in response to the everyday targetting of Palestinians.
